“比较级形容词” (Comparative Adjectives)
🔒 登录后可标记已读- old 加 -er、dangerous 前面加 more、good 要背成 better——比较级形容词的变形方式不只一种，得按音节数分类记。
- 单音节形容词直接加 -er（-e 结尾只加 r，短元音+辅音结尾要双写字母），双音节 -y 结尾去 y 加 ier，其余双音节和多音节前面加 more。
- good/bad/far 是不规则形式，要单独背；部分双音节词（如 polite、simple）两种变法都行得通。
- 配合 than 比较两者，学完能说清楚「这个比那个更…」这类日常比较句。
重点内容
单音节形容词：加 -er
大多数单音节形容词直接加 -er。
- old → older（更老）
- clean → cleaner（更干净）
- slow → slower（更慢）
以 -e 结尾：只加 -r
- safe → safer
- nice → nicer
以「短元音 + 辅音」结尾：双写辅音再加 -er
- big → bigger
- hot → hotter
双音节以 -y 结尾：去 y 加 -ier
- noisy → noisier（更吵）
- happy → happier（更开心）
- easy → easier（更容易）
多音节形容词：用 more
其他双音节及三音节以上的形容词，前面加 more。
- crowded → more crowded（更拥挤）
- stressful → more stressful（更有压力）
- dangerous → more dangerous（更危险）
📌 有些双音节形容词（如 common, cruel, gentle, polite, simple, stupid）两种方式都可以用：
- simpler = more simple
- politer = more polite
不规则比较级（必须背）

比较两者时，在比较级后用 than。
- Their house is cleaner than ours. 他们家比我们家干净。
- Traffic is slower in the city than in the countryside. 城市里的交通比乡下慢。
- After the race I was more tired than Anne. 比赛后我比安娜还累。

常见错误
❌ This road is more dangerous than that one. → ✅ 这个其实没错，但如果是简单形容词就别用 more。
❌ She is more tall than her sister. ✅ She is taller than her sister. （单音节直接加 -er）
❌ Today is more hot than yesterday. ✅ Today is hotter than yesterday.
❌ His English is gooder than mine. ✅ His English is better than mine. （不规则形式）
❌ She runs more fast than him. ✅ She runs faster than him. （副词也有比较级，fast → faster）
